electoral college
if the electoral college did not exist thenwhen the people of america expressed their rights by voying then every vote would be put in towards a grand total of votes. instead of each vote going toward winning a state then the number of electoral votes in a state to president. although i still believe that every vote counts in the current system it seems pretty crazy that the majority of the people of the us could vote for one person and some one else ends up getting elected.
